This is a Corner Square I designed to accompany the Blair Road Blanket<\/a> pattern by Magdalene Lee<\/a> because I wanted to continue the border around the entire blanket instead of just down one side. I’m also planning on creating a continuing border corner square in the near future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stitches: skip – sk, chain – ch, yarn over – yo, slip stitch – sl st, single crochet – sc, double crochet – dc, half double crochet – hdc, half treble crochet – htr, back loops only – BLO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Popcorn stitch: 5 dc in same st, drop loop from hook, insert hook front to back through top of first dc made, replace dropped loop on hook and pull through st, ch to close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Picot: ch3 insert hook into first ch, yo, pull through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Square follows the original pattern rounds 1-5 for Blair Road Square as listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 1 (1st color): 16 dc in magic ring, join to first dc. fasten off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 2 (2nd color): 2hdc in dc, hdc in next dc<\/em>, repeat from to<\/em> 7 times, join to first hdc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 3: Popcorn in hdc (first one in same st as join),<\/em> ch 3 sk 2 hdc, repeat from to<\/em> 7 times, join to first popcorn. fasten off. (8 popcorns, 8 ch 3 spaces)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
