Do you have yarn that’s too rough to use for blankets or wearables but too pretty to get rid of?
Well, I do too!
This yarn’s colorway is super fun, but I never liked its texture enough to use it for any of my usual projects. It’s been in my stash for over 18 years! This is an older colorway that’s been discontinued and I don’t have the label it was wrapped in, but I think it was by either Red Heart or Caron, since those were the brands I started with.
I picked it up again while going through my stash, thinking of designing something small to whip up and share with everyone.
The colors of this yarn reminded me of Ferris Wheels so much that I was inspired to turn it into coasters that look very similar! Now they are adding a touch of whimsy to our living room.
Enjoy and share with a friend!
Sport or 3 weight coarse yarn with no elasticity.
(Here I used an older yarn in a discontinued colorway.)
